Little known, but very effective, onion can help you grow a real beard. As you will see in this article, its virtues and benefits are numerous and it is your hair (and your skin) that will benefit the most!

I present three ways to use onions for beards, including an onion-based oil by the Grandeur brand.

Anyway, I'll let you discover all that in this article dedicated to onion and beard!

Onion: an ally to make your hair grow

Onion is considered a "grandmother's remedy" when it comes to using it on the beard, face or hair.

Indeed, its toning properties and virtues provide many benefits on your beard:

  • Helps grow beard by toning hair follicles
  • Strengthens fine and brittle hair
  • Improves blood circulation and cell renewal

3 ways to use onions to grow your beard

While applying onions to your beard may not seem conventional, it can be done. The proof is in the pudding, women often use onions for their hair care and have dense and fast growing hair.

There are 3 ways to use onion on your beard :

  1. Make onion juice or oil
  2. Rub the freshly cut onion on his beard
  3. To consume onion in its eating

1. Make onion juice or oil and apply it to his hair

The most recommended way: make your own onion juice or oil and apply it to your beard.

To create your onion juice: take an onion (red, yellow...) and squeeze it to get the juice in a container

For onion oil, the easiest way is to buy it already made!

Skin Science offers us this excellent oil based on onion seeds and allows for a healthy (re)growth. Suitable for all beards, it makes a perfect treatment to take care of your hair

If you really want to make your own onion oil, here is a video that explains the process:

Apply your onion mixture to the beard:

  1. Get a cotton swab and dip it in your mixture.
  2. Apply the juice or oil to the desired areas (holes, fuzz, sparse beard...). If you do not have no beard at allApply directly with your hands to the entire surface where the beard is supposed to grow.
  3. After at least 1 hour (you can leave it overnight), wash your beard with a shampoo and rinse your face.

Tip: mix the onion juice with oils that help the growth of the beard for maximum effect!

I advise you to look at the castor oil, the mustard (we'll be able to make a salad after all...) or the black seed.

In the same style, you can also use garlic for your beardmainly in the form of oil.

2. Rub the onion on the beard and the parts where hair is missing

Perhaps the easiest way to use onion on your beard but not the most effective (I recommend juicing instead):

  1. Peel and halve the onion
  2. Take half of the onion and rub your beard, focusing on the important areas: holes, fuzz, sparse beard...
  3. After at least an hour, wash your hair with a beard shampoo and rinse.

If you don't rinse your beard, you might as well be warned: you won't be able to approach women and even your relatives might reject you.
It would be a pity to have a nice big beard and that nobody wants to approach you anymore...

3. Eating onions

Probably the most natural way to use onions to grow beard hair: include onions in your diet!

If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend it because its benefits on the body, besides hair growth, are numerous!

If you don't like onions, you'll have no choice but to fall back on one of the other two solutions!

In short: onions and their juice are excellent for growing beards

The onion is a very little known solution but remains nevertheless an effective remedy against all forms of alopecia of the beard and hair.

If you don't have a beard, if your hair is fragile, if you only have down or holesIf you're not sure what to do, simply applying onion juice could wake up your hair and make it come out!

Indeed, onion juice will tone and activate your hair follicles and allow your hair to grow stronger and denser.

On the use side, I recommend this onion oil by Grandeur or onion juice, but it is also possible to rub onions directly or simply include them in your diet.

          Hello Alidjiwa,

If the oils didn't work for you, I suggest you opt for the Minoxidil or the Dermaroller (you can also combine them) which are known to help grow beards faster.

What have you tried to grow hair under your chin?

          Thanks to you,
          Brandon.
